La mia storia

Da sempre mi sono appassionato alla musica in particolare allo strumento della chitarra.

Il luogo in cui si vive, spesso direttamente o indirettamente ha valenza sulle scelte che si fanno nella propria vita, nel mio caso, abitando a Positano, la bellezza che mi circonda sicuramente ha stimolato ancor di più questa mia attitudine. Sono nato nel 1972.

Ho coltivato questa passione sin da piccolo. I primi approcci sono avvenuti all’età di nove anni prima con il Maestro Franco Di Franco e poi successivamente con il Maestro Raimondo Di Sandro insegnante al Conservatorio di Benevento. Con lui ho iniziato un viaggio durato diversi anni. La sua presenza e stata necessaria, per accrescere e affinare la mia arte come musicista.

Nel 1990 mi sono diplomato all’ Istituto Tecnico Commerciale di Amalfi, e contemporaneamente, ho sostenuto gli esami presso il Conservatorio di Benevento, conseguendo nel 1998 il Diploma di Chitarra Classica, sotto la guida del Maestro Raimondo Di Sandro. Ho anche frequentato il Corso di Tirocinio tenuto dallo stesso Maestro Raimondo Di Sandro, riportando alla fine del corso il massimo dei voti.

Nel campo musicale ho partecipato a svariati eventi, ne ricordo uno tra tutti, anno 2006, “Corde e Risonanze” promosso dall’Associazione Culturale A.D.I.N. all’interno del progetto Nova Cella Arte, nel Borgo di Nocelle a Positano, collaborando con diversi musicisti.

Nel 2016 ho realizzato e pubblicato la mia prima raccolta musicale in un cd dal titolo “7 brani per chitarra”.

Un progetto musicale, le cui elaborazioni per chitarra sono state curate dal mio Maestro Raimondo Di Sandro. Un viaggio tra la musica classica e quella partenopea.

La registrazione e stata curata poi dal collega nonché amico Felice Di Lorenzo, nel sala d’incisione “MusicAlcentro” di Afragola.

I have always loved music and am particularly fond of the guitar and its repertoire.

The place in which one lives, directly or indirectly, has a profound impact on the choices one makes in life. In my case, the fact of living in Positano, in the midst of great natural beauty, has undoubtedly stimulated my approach to life.

I was born in 1972 and began to devote myself seriously to musical studies at the age of nine, first with Maestro Franco Di Franco and subsequently with Maestro Raimondo Di Sandro, who taught music at the Benevento Conservatory. With the latter, I undertook a journey that lasted for several years. His support was crucial to my artistic growth as I worked to develop and refine my skills as a musician.

In 1990, I graduated with a diploma from the Amalfi Business College. During the same period of time, I enrolled in the Benevento Conservatory. Guided throughout the process by Maestro Di Sandro, I graduated   in 1998 with a diploma in classical guitar. I also took the professional training course given by maestro Di Sandro, completing it with top marks.

Over the years, I have participated in numerous musical events. One of the highlights was in 2006, “Corde Risonanze”, an event organized by the Associazione Culturale A.D.I.N. as part of the Nuova Cella Arte project in the village of Nocelle above Positano.

In 2016, I recorded and released my first musical collection, a CD entitled “ 7 Pieces for Guitar“, with elaborations by Maestro Di Sandro of compositions ranging from the classical to the traditional Neapolitan. The sound engineer was my friend and colleague Felice Di Lorenzo. The CD was recorded at the MusicaAlCentro sound studios in Afragola.
